Biography
PD Dr. med. Hischam Bassiouni is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and he is also the Director of two Neurosurgical Clinics at two major academic teaching hospitals, (Klinikum Amberg and Klinikum Weiden) in Bavaria, Germany. He is also the member of German Neurosurgical Society (DGNC), European Neurosurgical society (EANS), German skull base society (DGSB). He had his Neurosurgical training at University Hospital Aachen (1993-1996) and University Hospital Essen (1996-2000), Germany. His neurosurgical and scientific subspecializations include neuro-oncology, neurovascular surgery, skull base surgery, and neuropediatric surgery. He is the first author of 13 publications in high-ranked Neurosurgical journals and authored several chapters in international neurosurgical reference books and Peer-reviewer for several international journals including ‚Brain Research’, ‘Neurologia India’, ‘Journal of Neurology’, ‘Clinical Neurology & Neurosurgery’, ‘Neurosurgical Review’, ‘Surgical Neurology’, etc. Also, he had Neurosurgical experience including microsurgery on >2000 brain tumors and >800 intracranial vascular malformations with routine application of latest technology including Neuronavigation, microscopic fluorescent techniques, intraoperative monitoring, neuro-endoscopy, etc.

Biography
Enam is a US Board certified Neurosurgeon and is Professor of Neurosurgery and Chair, Department of Surgery at the Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. He has Specialist Certification in Neurosurgery from Canada, an FRCS from Canada, an FRCS from Ireland and a Fellowship of American College of Surgeons. He has been awarded several accolades and honors for his work both in USA and in Pakistan, including Physician of the year medallion, Master Surgeon Award, Excellence in Neurosurgery Award and Sitara-e-Imtiaz, one of the highest honor given to a civilian in Pakistan. Dr. Enam has a strong background in basic science research with a PhD in Neuroscience from Northwestern University, USA. He is a life member of Sigma Xi, a scientific research honor society, as well as founding president of Pakistan Society of Basic and Applied Neuroscience, member of the Executive Committee of AANS-CNS Section of Brain Tumors, and member of the advisory Board of The Science Bridge. He has been editor of several scientific journals and has delivered numerous lectures across the world on Neurosurgery, Neuro-Oncology and Neuroscience topics. He is currently also a faculty member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan and PhD supervisor for the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He is actively involved in many clinical and basic science research projects and has authored more than 100 manuscripts and articles.

Biography
Kita Sallabanda Diaz is currently the president of the Spanish Society of Radiosurgery (SER) and deputy of Neurosurgery of the San Carlos Clinical Hospital, Madrid, Radiosurgery Unit, and Cyberknife. He is also a director of International Master in Radiosurgery of CNS of University Complutense of Madrid. In 1983, he graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine University of Tirana, Albania and in 1992 he was a resident in Neurosurgery at the Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital ¨Principes de Asturia ¨Bellvitge, Barcelona, Spain. In 1994, he was appointed as a neurosurgeon in the faculty of Medicine at University of Tirana. In 2000, he became the deputy of neurosurgery and head of unit at “Madre Teresa†University of Tirana, Albanian followed by in 2014, he was appointed as the deputy of neurosurgery at Hospital Clinico Universitario ´San Carlos ‘Madrid.
