Biography
Dr. Telmo Augusto Barba Belsuzarri is a neurosurgeon at Brazil. He did his medical and neurosurgery training at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas. He has specialized in Neurointensive care at the Sirio-Libanês Hospital in Brazil and Transcranial Doppler at the University of California Los Angeles (USA). He did part of his neurosurgery training in neuro-oncology at the Cleveland Clinic (USA) and MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA). Also specialized in minimally invasive cranial approaches, with medical training at the Hirslanden Klinik in Zurich (Switzerland). He also has a particular focus in vascular neurosurgery with training at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) and the Federal University of São Paulo (Brazil). He has a fellow in spine surgery by the Neurospine (São Paulo) and focuses on endoscopic approaches to the spine. He is consultant neurosurgeon and researcher in brain aneurysms at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas and Masters in Neurosurgery in Aneurysm surgery. By now, his surgical group is specialized in Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery - Cranial and Spine approaches with a focus on Cranial Neuroendoscopy and Spine Endoscopic Surgery. Dr. Telmo Belsuzarri is also a reviewer of medical and neurosurgical journals and has several publications and congress presentations. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery (SBN), American Academy of Neurological Surgery (AANS) and the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (WSSFN).
